Biography, education and career. Born in Zestaphoni (Georgia) July 12, 1944. Married, has a son. Graduated from Tbilisi State Medical Institute. 1969-1980 - physician at the Research Institute of Traumatology and orthopedy in Moscow; Since 1981 up to now is the head of the traumatology and orthopedics department of the hospital #1, Tbilisi.
